Is Loco Rush free?
Yes. Loco Rush is free to download on the App Store and Google Play.
How do I play?
Your train never stops. Swipe left or right anywhere on the screen to move to the neighbouring line at the next crossover. Tap to sound your whistle: the nearest oncoming train on your line hears it and brakes, as long as you whistle early.
Run through a platform on its line and everyone waiting jumps aboard. Every passenger counts towards your score.
How do I replay the tutorial?
On the main menu, tap How to play under the Depart button. The tutorial runs once automatically on your first game, and you can skip it at any time.
What ends a run?
A run ends when you hit an oncoming train (whistle early and it brakes, giving you more time to switch), hit a car at a level crossing, reach the red buffer stop at the end of a closed line, or run into the end of an island platform.
A shield absorbs one hit, and a Lifeline relays track through a dead end, so collect them when you can. You can hold up to three of each.
How do upgrades work?
You start on steam. At 40 passengers you upgrade to diesel, then electric at 100, high speed at 180 and maglev at 300. Each upgrade is faster and brings a new look, new trains and new music.
What does the x2 power-up do?
For 20 seconds, every passenger who boards counts twice.

How do I turn off the music or sound?
Use the music note and speaker buttons in the top right corner of the screen. Your choice is remembered.
Where is my best score saved?
On your device. It does not sync between devices, and deleting the app resets it. Nothing is sent to us; see the privacy policy.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Loco Rush plays fully offline and has no account or sign-in.
The game feels slow or my phone gets warm
Loco Rush adjusts its detail level automatically to keep the frame rate smooth, so give it a few seconds after you depart. Closing other apps and turning off Low Power Mode or Battery Saver can also help.
