How to play

One thumb. Three lines. No brakes.

Loco Rush is a railway game that is easy to pick up and hard to put down. Your locomotive never stops, so every decision happens at speed.

  1. Swipe to switch tracks

    Swipe left or right anywhere on screen and your train takes the next crossover onto the neighbouring line.

  2. Sweep up passengers

    Run through a platform on its line and everyone waiting leaps aboard, one after another.

  3. Upgrade your loco

    Passenger milestones swap your engine for something faster: diesel at 40, electric at 100, high speed at 180 and maglev at 300.

  4. Whistle and dodge

    Oncoming trains share your lines. Tap to whistle early and the one on your line answers and brakes. Then switch in time, or leave it late for a close shave.

  • Oncoming trainsSlow freight, stopping locals and fast expresses. Whistle early and the one on your line brakes for you.

  • Level crossingsWhen the lights flash, a car may already be on its way across. Do not race it.

  • Buffer stopsSome lines simply end. Spot the red buffer ahead and get off in time.

  • Island platformsThey sit on the middle line. Take the left or right line past them.
